In another edition of the #CAAminute, Bobby Broyles opens up the action with a breakdown of the 2013 preseason CAA field hockey poll. After capturing their first league title in 2012, the Drexel Dragons’ field hockey squad was selected by the league’s coaches to repeat as CAA champs in 2013. Northeastern University, which finished runner-up in the CAA over the past two seasons, was tabbed to finish second in the preseason field hockey poll. Drexel senior men’s soccer midfielder Nathan Page was chosen as the CAA’s preseason Player of the Year, also voted on by the league’s coaches. Pace registered nine goals and 19 points last season en route to helping his team earn the CAA regular season title. Broyles wraps up the Minute with a brief preview which highlights CAA Football’s 11 Teams/11 Days series — with the first video of the segment, featuring the Rhode Island Rams.
